Our Role as Your Listing Agent
"Cal and Lindee Stanford gave us the
best possible results with the least amount of hassle and
aggravation."
You probably used the services of a real estate
agent when your bought your home. In that situation, you were
a buyer looking for a home already listing/marketed for sale.
You may have met the agent at an open house or through a referral
from a friend. This agent took on the role as a buyer's agent
representing you and your interests throughout the transaction.
Our Realtor code of ethics and the Washington State laws of
real estate agency require that the buyer's agent work only
on the behalf of the buyer.
Now, as a home seller, you need the services
of a dedicated professional Realtor to solely represent your
interests as a home seller. The roles and services of real
estate agents are very different on both sides of the transaction.
This is not to say that a buyer's real estate agent will intentionally
deceive or mislead you. Realtors subscribe to a code of ethics
and state law require basic integrity in all of our dealings
with clients on both sides of a transaction.
However, when it comes to the nuances of each
transaction, our commitment to you in the sale of your house
is to ensure you have as much information as possible to make
good, informed decisions. We ensure you are protected and
your position asserted in every way throughout the entire
transaction.
As your listing agents, we execute a detailed
and comprehensive marketing plan to get your house widest
exposure on the market and ensure the buyer and the buyer's
agent are singing our tune for you.
